I have done a search and found bits of information but not one that answers my questions directly.
I need some help.
Basically my partner and I are arriving in Cambodia at the end of May 2008 (after 6 months backpacking through Asia) to find work. We traveled here 3 years ago and loved it so we want to come back and work. I am a qualified teacher, my partner a Doctor. I have been on email with two International school Principles who are keen but can't promise me anything work yet for next year (Start of August).
Is it hard getting a job at an International school? I figured I would be more employable seeing I will have made my own way there and will have found my own rental property - is this correct thinking?
My partner has been a doctor for a decade now and is a tad sick of it. She wants to work at a bar for a bit. Is it just a matter of keeping you eyes and ears open when we are there? Is is possible to get bar work as a westerner (i;m guessing only at backpacker and river bars where westerners are).
This may seem a silly question, but my partner is not only a GP, but a Sports Medical Doctor (having worked for a big AFL footy club in Melbourne) - is their any sports medicine in Phnom Penh? Any teams needing a doctor?
I am a runner - I know there is a hash hound harrier running group. How far do they run? How many people at the session usually?
If I want to run on my own, where are the best places to run?
Thank You!!!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
